Hello. This is Pat Willie, the founder, and CEO of the not-for-profit ministry, The Gathering. When women gather, when women worship. Thanks for joining us for this podcast, the two-minute prayer. I believe that prayer is essential. It is life-giving and life-sustaining, and it only takes just a minute to pray.
Father God in the name of Jesus, we give you glory. We give you honor, we give you praise and we thank you God for a brand new day. Thank you that we have the opportunity to call you Lord, and to acknowledge you in all our ways, for your words, commends us that in all our ways we should acknowledge you. And you will direct our path.
Thank you for your direction. Thank you for providing direction in our lives. And God, we thank you that we belong to you for your word says, we have been adopted. We have received the spirit of adoption and you are our Father.
We thank you, God, that your word declares the spirit bears witness with our spirit. That we are the children of God. We belong to you. You are our father. And God, your word goes on to tell us that if we are heirs then we are joint-heirs with Christ. And if we suffer it, which you, we shall also be glorified, which you. So father God, in the name of Jesus, we thank you that during this time of loneliness for some, and wondering for others that we have the blessed assurance that we belong to you and that your own our side.
