Hello. This is Pat Willie, the founder, and CEO of the not-for-profit ministry, The Gathering. When women gather, when women worship. Thanks for joining us for this podcast, the two-minute prayer. I believe that prayer is essential. It is life-giving and life-sustaining, and it only takes just a minute to pray.
Father God in the name of Jesus, we give you glory, we give you praise. That you're a God and you're with us and you are ever abiding in us. And that we don't have to do life alone because of your holy spirit that's in us. That's leading and guiding us and teaching us and bringing back to our memory, all the things that you have taught us.
We thank you for the companion of your spirit, the holy spirit. The spirit of God is always with us, manifesting your glory and your presence in our lives. We thank you for it. And we thank you for the hope and the help of the holy spirit that helps us if our infirmities.
We thank you, God, that the spirit itself makes intercession for us. With groanings that cannot be uttered. So God, in the name of Jesus, we thank you that we have your spirit that praised the perfect will of God for our lives. And this, we know that all things work together for the good of them that love God.
To them who are called according to your purpose. And Father God we know, glory be to God, that everything that we go through suffers ever experienced in life is all for a greater plan. Help us to see the bigger picture. Help us to know that everything we suffer through is a testimony to the glory of God.
We give you glory. We give you praise for the steadfastness that you've placed in our spirits. We can't do it without you. So we thank you for your presence in our lives in Jesus' name. Amen.
