Hello. This is Pat Willie, the founder, and CEO of the not-for-profit ministry, The Gathering. When women gather, when women worship. Thanks for joining us for this podcast, the two-minute prayer. I believe that prayer is essential. It is life-giving and life-sustaining, and it only takes just a minute to pray.
This is prayer number three in the series of forgiveness.
Father, God, in the name of Jesus, we honor your name. We give you glory and praise, and we thank you for the relationship that we have, which you. We are the sons and the daughters of the most high God. And we are connected with you. And our lives reflect the will of God.
And we honor you. And we thank you for this powerful principle of forgiveness. For truly it is the ultimate miracle. And the release and the freedom that we experience as a result are forgiving. We thank you, God, in the name of Jesus that we can be real and honest with you about the things that hurt us. And we can come to you and let you know about the offense that we have suffered.
And God, when we are real and honest and open and transparent, with you. And we ask, glory, be to God, that you give us the strength to forgive those who have hurt us. There you are to heal us. There you are to start the process of mending our broken hearts and fixing everything in our lives that has gone wrong as a result of unforgiveness. Heal us, we let go of the offense . In Jesus' name, we ask for your help. In the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Amen.
