Hello. This is Pat Willie, the founder, and CEO of the not-for-profit ministry, The Gathering. When women gather, when women worship. Thanks for joining us for this podcast, the two-minute prayer. I believe that prayer is essential. It is life-giving and life-sustaining, and it only takes just a minute to pray.
This is prayer number four in the series of forgiveness.
Father God, in the name of Jesus, we honor you as our Lord and our savior. You are our father, which art in heaven, and holy is your name. And we say you will be done. And your kingdom come.
And God. We pray for ourselves. Those of us that need healing. For unforgiveness. Our pains are real. The things that we suffered, we didn't deserve. We were treated unfairly. But God, we ask that you give us the strength and the power to forgive and to let go, of the offense.
I pray that you would give us supernatural strength. And your grace will come upon us so that we are able to forgive and let go. I pray for wisdom in every situation. Of how to respond, how to respond to the offender. And God, I pray that you help us to rise above the hurt and the pain. In order that we may become the daughters and sons of God. And we may live out our purpose in our calling to the fullest, in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
We choose forgiveness. Therefore we are free. And your word says whom the Son sets free is free indeed. Now God, as we walked through the process of healing we pray in the name of Jesus that you would comfort us in every way that is needed. That we will find strength and comfort in your word to know that you will never leave us nor forsake us and that even in the valleys of our lives, you're there with us.
Thank you. That you're softening my heart, my mind, and my soul. I choose forgiveness. In the name of our Lord and savior. Jesus Christ. Amen.
