Hello. This is Pat Willie, the founder, and CEO of the not-for-profit ministry, The Gathering. When women gather, when women worship. Thanks for joining us for this podcast, the two-minute prayer. I believe that prayer is essential. It is life-giving and life-sustaining, and it only takes just a minute to pray.
This is prayer number five.
Father God, in the name of Jesus. Your word says, regarding forgiveness. As much as lies within us to live peacefully with all men. And God, we seek reconciliation with our offender and those people that we have offended. That's our desire is to show them your love. And show them you have changed our hearts and our minds.
But when reconciliation is not possible, glory, be to God, and we've done everything that we know to do according to your word, then God frees us to move ahead. Free us to keep it moving and keep moving in your direction, knowing that you know, all you see all, and that you are in complete control, in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
I thank you for the healing of forgiveness. I thank you for the freedom of forgiveness. I thank you that forgiveness is the higher-order. Yes, God. And as you have forgiven us We choose to forgive others. And this way we please you. And pleasing you is what we desire. We desire peace and harmony above the hurt and pain. Therefore, we forgive. Help us now. Give us an abundance of grace. That we may be able to live godly fulfilled lives. In Jesus' name.
