Hello. This is Pat Willie, the founder, and CEO of the not-for-profit ministry, The Gathering. When women gather, when women worship. Thanks for joining us for this podcast, the two-minute prayer. I believe that prayer is essential. It is life-giving and life-sustaining, and it only takes just a minute to pray.
Father God in the name of Jesus, we honor you and we praise you and we magnify your name. Thank you for your goodness and your everlasting love. Thank you that you're constantly teaching us your way and you've taught us about forgiveness.
Forgiveness is a choice. Forgiveness is not trusting. And God, I pray that you would clear up our confusion about forgiveness so that we may choose the better way. And forgiveness is your way.
And as you have forgiven us, We forgive others. And God helps us to know, glory be to God, forgiveness is not approval for what we're going through. But yet it is an act of God. It is what you require. In Jesus' name. The wrong that we went through was wrong. But God, in the name of Jesus, we know forgiveness is personal and you are dealing with our hearts and our minds. And you will also deal with the offender for your word says, vengeance is mine says the Lord, and I will repay. But God, we don't concentrate on the offender, but instead, we concentrate on you. The one that's able to heal. The one that's able to deliver. And the one that's able to set us free from the pain. And everything that's related to unforgiveness. In Jesus' name. Amen.
