Hello. This is Pat Willie, the founder, and CEO of the not-for-profit ministry, The Gathering. When women gather, when women worship. Thanks for joining us for this podcast, the two-minute prayer. I believe that prayer is essential. It is life-giving and life-sustaining, and it only takes just a minute to pray.
This prayer is for the state of the economy.
Father God in the name of Jesus, I honor your name. And oh, what a great name, the name of Jesus. It soothes our thoughts. It brings peace to our minds. It encourages us. And for that, I give you glory and I give you praise.
God, my prayer is for the state of our economy. And I specifically pray for those God that are struggling. Young families who are struggling to make ends meet. Young families who are not able to pay their bills, or maybe not even able to put food on the table for the children. I pray, oh God for supernatural blessing for them, in Jesus' name.
And I pray, oh God, that you would touch the hearts and minds of your people and that we will be sensitive to the needs of others. And we will be quick to be the hands and feet of Jesus Christ. And where we see a need, we're going to meet that need in Jesus' name.
Help us to always be open in compassion. Your word says the bowels of our compassion being open and being service is serving others. We give you glory. We give you praise that you're promoting young families and that you are meeting all of their needs. You said you will supply all of our needs according to your riches in glory. So I'm asking for a promotion in their jobs. I'm asking for an increase on that job. I'm asking, oh God, in the name of Jesus for better jobs, in Jesus' name.
And I give you glory and I give you praise. Your word says I was young and I was old. But I have never seen the righteous forsaken nor his seed begging bread. You will provide for your children. I give you glory and praise that our trust is in the name of the Lord. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.
