Hello. This is Pat Willie, the founder, and CEO of the not-for-profit ministry, The Gathering. When women gather, when women worship. Thanks for joining us for this podcast, the two-minute prayer. I believe that prayer is essential. It is life-giving and life-sustaining, and it only takes just a minute to pray.
This prayer is a continuation of the mind and prayers for the mind.
Father God, in the name of Jesus, we just honor you and give you glory and praise. And we're so grateful to have you in our lives. To be able to call you our father for you are the one that watches over us and that keeps us safe. And we acknowledge you in all of our ways.
And your words say you will direct our paths. So father God, I pray. I pray your word according to Isaiah 26 and three. Your word says you will keep those in perfect peace whose mind is stayed upon you. Why? Because we trust you and we know, glory be to God, because of our relationship with you. Because you are our father glory be to God.
You will give us peace. You are the God of peace. You are Jehovah alone. So I pray in the name of Jesus. That your peace will comfort the hearts and minds of your people. In the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. And now God, we pray according to Romans 12, one and two, that you will renew our minds in the name of Jesus for your word says that we should present ourselves a living sacrifice unto you. Holy. Which is our reasonable service. And that we should not be confirmed. To this world, but we shall be transformed by the renewing of our minds. And God, I pray that you would renew our minds and we will begin to think about the things that please you. In Jesus' name..
I give you glory and I give you praise that we are a new creature in you. Old things have passed away. Old ways of thinking. Old patterns of thinking. Old thought processes and behold, all things are new. We have the mind of Christ. Our mind is being renewed day by day. As we learn more of you. As we learn more of your truth. As we apply your truth in our daily lives. We have the mind of Christ and I give you glory and I give you praise for the great work of grace that brings peace in our hearts, in our minds in Jesus' name.
