Hello. This is Pat Willie, the founder, and CEO of the not-for-profit ministry, The Gathering. When women gather, when women worship. Thanks for joining us for this podcast, the two-minute prayer. I believe that prayer is essential. It is life-giving and life-sustaining, and it only takes just a minute to pray.
This prayer is related to becoming a doer of the word and not a hearer only.
Father God in the name of Jesus, we give you glory and honor and praise. And we worship your name. Your name is holy. How we honor you for being our Lord, our savior, and our soon-coming king.
And God, we thank you that your word has transformed our lives. You touched our hearts. You touched our minds. You fed us with the truth of your word. And truly, we are thankful that we're not the people that we used to be. And God, after hearing your word, we want to become doers of your word.
We pray on God and the name of Jesus that whatever we find to do, we do it with all of our might. We do it as unto the Lord. And God, we ask that you will give us a kingdom mindset. Everything that we do is to advance the kingdom of God. In order that others may hear of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Be saved. Their lives were transformed, in Jesus' name.
And God, we give you glory and we give you praise that you have the power in the name of Jesus to do in us the things that we desire to be used by you. Every gift and every calling. Everything that you have blessed us with. We surrender it all to you. For your purpose and your calling. And we give you glory. We give you praise. In Jesus' name. Help us to become doers of the word and not hearers only. For we pray to the father in the name of Jesus.
