Hello. This is Pat Willie, the founder, and CEO of the not-for-profit ministry, The Gathering. When women gather, when women worship. Thanks for joining us for this podcast, the two-minute prayer. I believe that prayer is essential. It is life-giving and life-sustaining, and it only takes just a minute to pray.
Father God in the name of Jesus I honor your name. I give you glory. I give you praise for truly the truth of God is in our hearts to be doers of the word and not hearers only.
And God, sometimes we desire to do, but we don't understand what to do. And you have given us the great commission to go ye, therefore, teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. And God many times we don't understand what that means. So I pray that you would open our understanding that you would give us an understanding of the scripture and then God that you would speak to us individually about the call and the gifting of God that is on our lives, in Jesus' name.
We pray that you would open our hearts, that you would touch us. And that our hearts would be open for the cause of Christ for the mission of Christ, in Jesus' name. And God, we are reminded of Lydia's scripture when she invited the missionary to her home. The word said you opened Lydia's heart.
Glory.
And her home became one of the first home churches in all of Europe. And God, many times we don't understand that it's the small things that have great significance in the kingdom of God. Give us to obey you. Open our hearts, and our understanding. That we may know what you're calling us to do. And then God, we thank you for grace. The supernatural ability to do what we can't do on our own.
And we thank you for your favor of connections. You're connecting us with people to help us to advance the kingdom of God.
We give you glory and we give you praise for it. In Jesus' name. Amen.
