Hello. This is Pat Willie, the founder, and CEO of the not-for-profit ministry, The Gathering. When women gather, when women worship. Thanks for joining us for this podcast, the two-minute prayer. I believe that prayer is essential. It is life-giving and life-sustaining, and it only takes just a minute to pray.
Father God, in the name of Jesus, we honor you. We give you glory. We give you praise for this beautiful day and your mercies are new today. And this is the day that the Lord has made. We will rejoice and be glad in it.
We thank you, God, that you have preserved our lives and you have called us for a purpose. And we give you glory. We give you praise that you have given us meaning in life. And God, we understand that we must become doers of your word. We must use and activate our faith and move forward in the things that you have called us to do.
And God, I thank you again for grace. That helps us. I thank you again, for opening our understanding so that we may understand what you're asking us to do. I pray that the word of God would enlighten and illuminate our inner man and that the light of God will shine forth in our understanding so that we may know that you chose us for a reason. And your plan must be carried out in earth. We say, thy kingdom comes, thy will be done. In our lives, in our hearts. In our minds, we submit with a yes and amen to everything that you have called us to do. And then God, in our daily lives. And our relationships. We want to be doers. We wanna show forth your love. We wanna respond in love. Yes. God. May the fruit of the spirit be complete and activated in our lives.
Love joy, and peace. Yes, faith. Long-suffering temperance, goodness, and meekness. May it be on display in our lives. May your love fill us. Let love become my driving force, in Jesus' name. Amen.
