Hello. This is Pat Willie, the founder, and CEO of the not-for-profit ministry, The Gathering. When women gather, when women worship. Thanks for joining us for this podcast, the two-minute prayer. I believe that prayer is essential. It is life-giving and life-sustaining, and it only takes just a minute to pray.
This is a prayer of Thanksgiving.
Father God, in the name of Jesus, I give you glory and praise, and I honor you as my Lord and my savior. For you are our God. You're the one that made us. You created us. We are made in your image and according to your likeness. And for that we honor you. Thank you for the goodness and your goodness in our lives.
For God, you have blessed us beyond measure. We don't have enough ways to make you know how much we are thankful. But we thank you for the things that you have done in our lives. We thank you, God, that you have granted us eternal life through our belief in the death barrier and resurrection of your son, Jesus.
We thank you, God, that you have called us your sons and daughters, and for that, we are grateful to be in a relationship with you. And God, I ask that you would give us a heart of Thanksgiving. That we would learn to be thankful for all things. It doesn't mean that we're thankful for all things, but it means we are thankful for all things. Because we have decided to focus on you.
Glory be to God.
Even in the bad times of life. We have decided to make Jesus our focus. Therefore, our hearts are grateful for the things that you've done. For our daily bread. Thank you.
For our housing and everything that you have given us in this life. We give you glory and we give you praise. And it's with the heart of Thanksgiving that we say, thank you, Lord.
In the name of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
