Hello. This is Pat Willie, the founder, and CEO of the not-for-profit ministry, The Gathering. When women gather, when women worship. Thanks for joining us for this podcast, the two-minute prayer. I believe that prayer is essential. It is life-giving and life-sustaining, and it only takes just a minute to pray.

This prayer is for Thanksgiving Day, a special prayer of thanks.

Father God, in the name of Jesus, we honor your name, and what a great name, the name of Jesus. We give you all glory and praise, and we come to you in prayer with a heart of thanksgiving. For your word instructs us to "Oh give thanks unto the Lord" for he is good and his mercy endured forever. And we echo the summits this morning and we declare that, yes, you are good. And yes, your mercy has been with us all the days of our lives.

And we are thankful because you are a good God. And there is a constant supply of your grace and your mercy is available when we need it the most. We thank you, God, that you are good.

And God, not only are we thankful, but we rejoice with our Thanksgiving knowing that you have commended us to be thankful in all things.

Glory be to God.

No matter what the circumstances in our lives. Help us to develop a heart of Thanksgiving knowing that you are with us. Your word says you will never leave us nor forsake us. So no matter what we are going through, you are walking with us through it. Help us to keep our eyes on Jesus. For therein lies our victory. When we keep our eyes on Jesus.

Help us to align our faith, our mouth, our expressions, and our actions with the word of God. Help us to believe what the scripture said. And then help us to speak what we believe. And help us to align our actions with that which we believe and that which we think, in Jesus' name.

We thank you, God, that we have victory in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. And we declare and confess that our position in life is one of rejoicing. We decree and declare that we come before your presence with Thanksgiving. . We come before you with praise in our hearts because of your divine power that has given us everything that we need, that pertains to life and governess.

We trust you in our present and in our future, that you are working it out for us. And we thank you that you have a divine plan for all of us. In the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. So, God, we practice being grateful. Our hearts are filled with gratitude. Gratefulness is the intention of our actions. We do what we do because we're grateful. We say what we say because we're grateful. Always being mindful of your presence in our lives. Always having a kingdom mindset. It is because of the things that you have done in our lives to transform our thinking. In the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

And God, our gratefulness is not solely tied to what we own or possess, but our gratefulness results from your loving kindness. To know that we have a God that loves us. Oh, thank you Holy Ghost. To know that we have a God that's on our side. We are grateful today and we wanna say thank you. And God, there is a blessing in Thanksgiving and we thank you.

Glory be to God.

That we have access through the blessings of God. Mm. Your word tells us to come boldly to the throne of grace. There we obtain mercy and we find grace to help in a time of need. We thank you, oh God, in the name of Jesus, that as we are thankful, as we show our way of living, as being thankful, as we express our Thanksgiving to you.

Glory be to God.

As Thanksgiving becomes our way of life. We can trust you to bless us. We can trust you to take good care of us. We can trust you to advance us. To heal us. For whatever we need because our hearts are filled with Thanksgiving this morning.

Glory.

Thank you for watching over our children. Thank you for keeping our family safe. We thank you for the blood of Jesus that covers and protects our lives and the lives of our family members. The lives of our children and grandchildren are protected. By the blood of Jesus. Let your blood cover glory be that God, every aspect of our lives. In the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christs. And we give you glory, we give you praise, and we give you thanks this morning.

Glory be to God.

As we enter into the day of festivities for Thanksgiving, help us to be mindful of your great love for us. Your word says, "and God so loved the world." Thank you. That he gave his only begotten son. That whosoever believe it on him shall not perish but have everlasting life.

God thank you that we believe that Jesus is the Son of God. Thank you, God, that we believe and confess that he died and he rose again. And because of that confession, God, your word says we have eternal life in your name.

Glory be to God.

And for those of you that are listening to me and this prayer, I pray that you would accept Jesus as your personal savior. Believe that he died on the cross. Believe and confess that he rose again. And in doing so, glory be that God, you have eternal life. We give you glory, and we give you praise, god. Thank you, Lord Jesus. We ask that you will forgive us of our sins, come into our lives and help us to live according to your word.

Thank you for your eternal plan of salvation. Thank you for the blessedness and the assurance and hope that we have in you.

In Jesus' name, we pray.

Amen and amen.
