Hello. This is Pat Willie, the founder, and CEO of the not-for-profit ministry, The Gathering. When women gather, when women worship. Thanks for joining us for this podcast, the two-minute prayer. I believe that prayer is essential. It is life-giving and life-sustaining, and it only takes just a minute to pray.
Father God. In the name of Jesus, we give you glory and honor, and praise. And we worship your holy name. For your name is holy. We give you all glory, all praise, and all honor. What a wonderful name, the name of Jesus. And God as we enter into this season of advent where we celebrate the birth and the coming of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
We thank you, God, for the plan of God that would bring salvation to mankind all over the world. And God as Mary made room for Jesus in her life, we make room for you in our lives. In the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
We make you a priority in our lives. We make our living and the way we live devoted to your calls and to your plan. We said willingly. Yes. And we make room again in our lives for you. We honor and esteem you higher than all of our circumstances and everything that we are going through. We thank you, God, that you are number one in our lives and for those times when we have not considered you a priority, we ask that you forgive us. As we reconstruct our priority and make you our number one focus. Give us the strength and the desire to make room for you in our lives. For we give you glory and we give you praise that you are alive and well in us. And you are our savior and our soon-coming king.
So we pray to the Father in the name of Jesus.
