Hello. This is Pat Willie, the founder, and CEO of the not-for-profit ministry, The Gathering. When women gather, when women worship. Thanks for joining in this podcast, the two-minute prayer. I believe that prayer is essential. It is life-giving and life-sustaining, and it only takes just a minute to pray.
Father God in the name of Jesus, we give you glory, we give you praise and we honor your name. Is again that we come to you with thankful hearts and we're so grateful to have you in our lives. We thank you, God, for how you kept us. We thank you, God, that as we go into a new year, that you have our lives already planned out. We thank you for the victories we will experience in 2021.
And we acknowledge you, God, in all of our ways. And we ask that you would be present in our lives in every situation. And every circumstance and everything that goes on in our lives throughout the year. We pray that you would be there. We pray that you would comfort us. We pray that you give us the strength in Jesus' name.
Now, God, we lookup. We look up to you. We commend our spirits to be encouraged. We commend our spirits to receive hope in order that we may enjoy. The things that you have planned for us in 2021 for you will help us through it that we know quite well. And we thank you for the comfort of your word, knowing that you will never leave us nor forsake us.
