Hello. This is Pat Willie, the founder, and CEO of the not-for-profit ministry, The Gathering. When women gather, when women worship. Thanks for joining us for this podcast, the two-minute prayer. I believe that prayer is essential. It is life-giving and life-sustaining, and it only takes just a minute to pray.
Father God in the name of Jesus, we give you glory. We give you praise and we thank you for a brand new day. We thank you that you are the Lord of our lives. We give you honor, and we honor your name for your name is great. And we thank you, God, that your way is a way of peace and you have instructed us to pray for peace.
So, God, I pray in the name of Jesus. That you would increase our peace and increase our faith in you. And then God that we will learn to be grateful in everything that we would learn to be grateful and that we would look for things to be grateful for and to be thankful for. For when we are being grateful and being thankful it re-establishes our peace. And I thank you, God, that we are grateful people and we have. Oh, a lot of things to be grateful for. I give you glory and give you praise. And you were also instructed to correct our negative thinking. And God, I pray in the name of Jesus that we would keep our minds stayed upon you.
And that we will correct our thought patterns in Jesus' name., you said you would keep those in perfect peace whose mind is stayed upon you. Give us to discipline our minds and our thoughts that we would keep our minds stayed upon you. The next one is that we must know. And have knowledge of the scripture and God, I pray in the name of Jesus as we reach your word that we would become not just heroes, but doers of your word, that we would activate your word in our lives. And that we would have practical application of your word in Jesus' name. And then God that we would learn to trust you in every situation, teach us how to trust you. For you said, when we pray for peace, when we're grateful, when we correct our own thinking, when we learn your word and apply your word, when we learn to trust you, our peace will increase.
We thank you for it. We thank you for the practical application of your word is your word that transformed our hearts and our mind. And we become new creations through you. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.
