Hello. This is Pat Willie, the founder, and CEO of the not-for-profit ministry, The Gathering. When women gather, when women worship. Thanks for joining in this podcast, the two-minute prayer. I believe that prayer is essential. It is life-giving and life-sustaining, and it only takes just a minute to pray.

Father God, in the name of Jesus, we give you glory and praise. And we thank you, oh God, for you value unity. For your words says, behold, how good and pleasant it is for brothers and sisters to dwell in unity. And God we desire unity. We desire peace. We asked that you would come and show us your perfect way, how that we may live in unity with those that are different from ourselves. For God, you celebrate diversity. And we thank you, God, that we can be unified through one spirit, one belief. In the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
We thank you that unity is pleasant. We thank you, God, that unity flows from the top to the bottom, in the name of Jesus. And so we pray that unity would start at the head of our government, at the head of our cities, at the head of our churches. And then that unity would run down to the lowest levels and that we would be able to live in peace, in Jesus' name.
I thank you, God, that it is in the presence of unity, where your blessing is commended. In Jesus' name, we pray your blessings upon your people. We pray for supernatural peace and harmony in the homes, in our school system, in our government. We pray that you would, God, move in a miraculous way that our hearts and our minds will be changed and we will desire unity in the name of our Lord and Savior. Give us to practice unity in Jesus' name. Amen.
