Hello. This is Pat Willie, the founder, and CEO of the not-for-profit ministry, The Gathering. When women gather, when women worship. Thanks for joining in this podcast, the two-minute prayer. I believe that prayer is essential. It is life-giving and life-sustaining, and it only takes just a minute to pray.

Father God, in the name of Jesus, we give you glory and honor and praise. And we worship your name, oh God. For you are our Lord and our Savior and our soon coming King. And therefore we magnify your name. We say, hallelujah. You are a great God.
God, we pray today for those that are hurting, those that are suffering from great grief and the pains of life. We ask, oh God, in the name of Jesus, that you would touch them deeply in the places where they hurt, and God that you would give them peace. And that you would comfort them. And that you would give them a hope, God, that things do change and things will get better.
We pray, oh God, in the name of Jesus that your Holy Spirit, who is the God of comfort would comfort the hearts and minds of all of those that have suffered loss through this past season. That we pray that you would let them know that you're on their side. And when you're on our side, you are more than a whole world against us.
So God, we pray for comfort. We pray for strength. We pray that your abiding presence will always be with us. And that we will recognize that you are with us and your word assures us that you will never leave us, nor forsake us. You're always there.
So God, I pray for supernatural comfort and strength for everyone that's hurting. We receive your peace and your strength to make it through the difficulties of life. In the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Amen.
