Hello. This is Pat Willie, the founder, and CEO of the not-for-profit ministry, The Gathering. When women gather, when women worship. Thanks for joining us for this podcast, the two-minute prayer. I believe that prayer is essential. It is life-giving and life-sustaining, and it only takes just a minute to pray.
Father God in the name of Jesus. We give you glory and we give you praise. And we thank you, God, for every lesson that you're teaching us through your word and through our faith in you, how to be able to stand and withstand the troubles of life.
And we thank you, God, that you're strengthening us in our inner man in Jesus' name. You'll raise us up to a higher level Of thinking and living and trusting you in every storm in our lives. Help us to be able to see the lesson in which you are trying to teach us, in Jesus' name. And God, you don't bring evil just to teach us a lesson, but we know that we can learn from you in every season of our lives.
So, God, I pray that you would reveal your truth. Glory, be to God in the name of Jesus. That you will reveal your truth in every situation, glory be to God. And God helps us not to be afraid, even though it seems sometimes that the ways of our lives are going to drown us and that we're not going to make it out. But we fix our eyes on Jesus and we know, glory be to God, that we are victorious in the finished work of Jesus Christ, for he said it is finished.
And there we have the strength that we have, the power that we have the authority in your name, glory be to God. To speak to the storms in our lives, and we will not be afraid. For you, have not given us a spirit of fear, but a power of love and a sound mind. Fear has torment and it's not of you.
So in the name of Jesus, we trust in you, we lay all fear side. We turn our hearts and our minds to you. We focus on the cross and the things that you've done for us, Jesus glory be to God. And we trust your word concerning our lives. And that's how we make it through life crises. For it is in the name of Jesus that we pray.
Hallelujah. Thank you, Lord Jesus. Amen. And amen.
