Hello. This is Pat Willie, the founder, and CEO of the not-for-profit ministry, The Gathering. When women gather, when women worship. Thanks for joining us for this podcast, the two-minute prayer. I believe that prayer is essential. It is life-giving and life-sustaining, and it only takes just a minute to pray.
Father God, in the name of Jesus, we give you glory. We give you honor, and we praise your name. Thank you for this brand new day. For this is the day that the Lord has made and I will rejoice and be glad in it. I thank you for your protection. Thank you for how you watched over us last night, as we slept.
We thank you, God, that we were surrounded by angels and you kept us, you kept our mind. And for that, we give you glory and we give you praise. Father God in the name of Jesus, your word instructs us. According to Matthew Chapter Seven, Verse Seven, ask and it shall be given unto you. Seek and you shall find. Knock and the door shall be opened unto you.
Father God in the name of Jesus, because you have instructed us to ask. We asked in a prayer today that you would touch the hearts and the minds of those that are troubled in their spirit and for whatever thing that they're going through. In whatever situation and circumstances that they are facing. We pray in the name of Jesus that they would ask you for your peace and for your comfort in your word, assuring us that when we ask, we shall receive it.
Now we release our faith and we believe you that you are the God of the impossible. For by faith nothing is impossible with you and got, we seek your direction. We seek your plan for our lives. We seek your answer to every question, every situation in the name of Jesus. We involve you in our lives and we ask that you will lead us and guide us and that we seek you and your direction. Then we knock on the door of opportunities. We knock on a door because we know that you are the source and you're the only one that can help us. And we give you glory. We give you praise that as we knock, we invite you into our lives. And we come to you because you are our help.
Teach us the importance of asking, seeking, and knocking. For in doing so, we involve you in our lives and we give you glory. We give you praise that we have great help. That's greater than we are. And that help is our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. For we pray to the Father in the name of Jesus. Amen.
