Hello. This is Pat Willie, the founder, and CEO of the not-for-profit ministry, The Gathering. When women gather, when women worship. Thanks for joining us for this podcast, the two-minute prayer. I believe that prayer is essential. It is life-giving and life-sustaining, and it only takes just a minute to pray.
Father God, in the name of Jesus, we honor you and we praise you. And we yet give you all praise and honor you as a great God that's in control of our lives. That you are walking with us and you're always with us. And you're always there. For your word promises that you will never leave us nor forsake us . And God, even though we have the testimony for some of us that were walking through the valley of life, but we are sure just as you were with the prophet King David, You are with us and your mercy and your kindness, and your goodness is following us through every season in our lives.
So, God, in the name of Jesus, we acknowledge your presence and your power to calm the seas in our lives in Jesus' name. We acknowledge your presence and your ability, glory be to God, to speak peace in our hearts and our minds. Even as we are going through God and we are in the midst of a storm and a crisis, you can give us peace and you will give us peace that passes all understanding. And your peace tells us that God is managing the outcome and it's going to work according to your word. All things work together for the good. For them, that love God, them who are called according to the power and the purpose of God. So, God, we thank you that acknowledge your power. And we also acknowledge the fact that the things that we're going through is bigger than us.
For when we go through things and we suffer through things, the outcome is greater than us in Jesus' name. And we ask that you give us that revelation knowledge, that the things that you take us through, the things that we suffer through, the things that you allow in our lives will one day be a testimony of your greatness and your goodness.
And we ask for your strength now to be able to navigate those storms of life. To be able to hold on to faith in the midst of trouble.
