Hello. This is Pat Willie, the founder, and CEO of the not-for-profit ministry, The Gathering. When women gather, when women worship. Thanks for joining us for this podcast, the two-minute prayer. I believe that prayer is essential. It is life-giving and life-sustaining, and it only takes just a minute to pray.
Father God in the name of Jesus, we give you glory, and honor and praise and we worship your name oh, mighty God. For you or the Lord and our God and our savior. And God, we thank you that you are present in every season of our lives. In the good times, as well as the bad times, you're always there.
And God, we know that there are going to be times in our lives where it seems as though we are caught in the middle of a storm. But in those times, help us to remember what you have promised. Your word says you will never leave us nor forsake us. Your word says that you always there taking care of us and that you are right near us. You're near to those that have a broken heart. And when we draw near to you, you will draw near to us. So, we thank you for your abiding presence. That is with us in every season of our lives. And then God, we want to remember to involve you in those moments of crisis and that we will call upon your name.
We will ask you to come and help us in the name of Jesus. And we know that when we ask anything, according to your will your word promises us that we shall have the petition that we asked of you. So, God, in the name of Jesus, for those that are navigating a storm tonight, I pray in the name of Jesus that they will know that you're with them.
They will invite you into their circumstance and God that you would hear them and that you would rescue them in Jesus' name. That you would turn their situation in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. And you will give them an abundance of grace and strength to be able to endure the hard times for it's in your name that we pray.
