Hello. This is Pat Willie, the founder, and CEO of the not-for-profit ministry, The Gathering. When women gather, when women worship. Thanks for joining in this podcast, the two-minute prayer. I believe that prayer is essential. It is life-giving and life-sustaining, and it only takes just a minute to pray.
Father God, in the name of Jesus, we honor your name. We declare that you are a good God. You're a loving father. You're kind. Thank you for your goodness. Thank you for your patience with us. Thank you, Lord. For how you are encouraging us and strengthening us. God, you are a motivation to keep going and to hold on to the promises of God. We honor you for that.
We thank you that your word has been hidden in our hearts. That we might not sin against you. And God in the name of Jesus, we find strength in knowing you today. you're our help. You, our comforter. You are the one that keeps us in the middle of a storm And God the storms of our lives seems to be raging. But our soul, our faith, our hope is anchored in your name.
And God, we know that as long as we hold on to you. Your words said that you will never leave us nor forsake us. So I asked that you will strengthen our hearts and our minds and our souls. I pray, oh God in the name of Jesus, that you will revive our hope and give us great expectations that the seasons in our lives do change.
We stand on your word and we believe your word that we've may endure for a night. But joy will come in the morning. So, God, we thank you that you're with us through every stage and every phase of life. And you're encouraging us to be all that you've called us to be. Now we receive your strength on the inner man with great confidence in your ability. And in your word that if you promised it, you will bring it to pass. Thank you for that confidence that we have in your name. We pray according to your word and your will. And we ask in faith, without any doubt, you will answer us. And we shall have those things in which we ask. In Jesus' name. Now, God, we pray for additional strength in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Amen.
