Hello. This is Pat Willie, the founder, and CEO of the not-for-profit ministry, The Gathering. When women gather, when women worship. Thanks for joining in this podcast, the two-minute prayer. I believe that prayer is essential. It is life-giving and life-sustaining, and it only takes just a minute to pray.
Father God, in the name of Jesus, we honor you and we give you praise and worship. And we say that you are our God and our Lord and our savior. Our prayer today. Oh God is for families and relationships. We pray for healing, for families. We pray for unity, peace, harmony, and fellowship in families.
We pray, Oh God, that they would be forgiveness and healing in our families. We pray for healthy relationships, healthy communications, great support systems within the family today. We pray for husbands. Those husbands would represent you in their homes. We pray for husbands that are strong and powerful, that take charge of their homes, and that leads their family in prayer and in service to God and others.
We pray to God that the husband would love his wife as Christ loved the church. And we asked, Oh God, that you would give both husband and wives the power to submit to you and to submit to the others in Jesus' name. to be able to submit to each other. We thank you for it. That you're healing relationships. Forgiveness is taken place. We're letting go of all hurts, pains, and scars. And we're opening our hearts to the power and freedom of forgiveness. We pray for our children. God that our children would be healed and strengthened in Jesus' name. For our smaller children, that they would be protected. And that they would be safe and secure in Jesus' name. We pray for our adult children's that they would surrender their lives to you for your purpose and for your calling. Most of all, God, we pray for complete harmony in the family unit. For God, when you heal the family, the church will be healed. When you heal the church, cities will be healed. When you heal cities, States will be healed. And nations would be healed. But it starts with the family unit. bless our families. May we represent you in every area of our lives in Jesus' name. Amen.
