Hello. This is Pat Willie, the founder, and CEO of the not-for-profit ministry, The Gathering. When women gather, when women worship. Thanks for joining us for this podcast, the two-minute prayer. I believe that prayer is essential. It is life-giving and life-sustaining, and it only takes just a minute to pray.
Father God, in the name of Jesus, we give you glory, we give you honor, and we worship your holy name. For truly, you are our Lord, our savior, and our God. You created us. And you know all about us. So they or God. We come to you this morning and we pray and we ask for your blessings on our pastors. In the name of Jesus.
We pray, oh God, that you will raise up men and women that have a heart for you and a heart for your people in the name of Jesus. I pray to God in the name of Jesus that they will love the sheep and care for the followers of Christ.
And they will have a heart. For what your heart stands for, in Jesus' name. I pray, oh God, that they will not be harlots, but God, in the name of Jesus. they will be sheep pastors after your own heart, in Jesus' name. And I give you glory and I give you praise that they will not mistake significance with self-importance in the name of Jesus.
They will not interpret daily porters as self-importance, but in the name of Jesus that you would give them a heart and a spirit to discern the times that it is time for them to consecrate themselves to you and be leaders and to be ones who will steer the church in the direction of God. They were challenged by people of God to be consecrated, to turn their hearts and minds to you in the name of Jesus.
And they will show an amazing love for the people of God. In Jesus' name. They will be pastors after your own heart. They will not be harlots but they will go after you. In Jesus' name. And we give you glory. We give you praise that our pastors are going after you and your word in Jesus' name. I pray.
