Hello. This is Pat Willie, the founder, and CEO of the not-for-profit ministry, The Gathering. When women gather, when women worship. Thanks for joining in this podcast, the two-minute prayer. I believe that prayer is essential. It is life-giving and life-sustaining, and it only takes just a minute to pray.
Father God in the name of Jesus, we give you glory and honor and praise. And we worship your Holy name. And according to your word, written in Psalm 1, we are blessed, happy, and content because we walk in godly counsel. We have refused the counsel of the ungodly. Therefore the blessing of God is in our lives.
We thank you, God, that we refuse to sit in a way of sinners. We walk according to your word and your word is processing a better life through and in us. In Jesus' name. We thank you, Lord, in the name of Jesus that we refuse to sit in the seat and agree with that, which is arrogant, cynical, a self-serving in the name of Jesus.
And God our delight is in your word. We are happy. We are excited to learn, know more about your world. For in your word, God, we learn you.In the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We learn the blessings of God and the things that you have for us. We come into a covenant agreement with all of your blessings and we give you glory, we give you praise. And God is in your word that we meditate day and night. Because God, we want to know you, we want new truths, new revelations, new insight in the name of Jesus.Of your word. So we meditate and we think on the things of God and we think on your word. And God, when we do those things there you are providing us with a better understanding, providing us with greater revelation, providing us with the grace to live according to your word. Addressing every situation in our life. Addressing every concern in our lives. For you are the one that will help us. You are the one that will keep us safe. You are the one that will help us to process everything that's going on in our lives. God you said, we shall be like a tree that's planted by the rivers of water. We thank you, God, that we are connected with you. And your spirit in us is a river of living water.
It is providing everything that we need, in order that we may grow. In order that we may remain alive. And finally, God, that whatsoever we do will prosper when we're connected to you. We thank you for your word today and your promises of great blessings for us. In the name of Jesus, we pray. Thank you, Lord Jesus.
