Hello. This is Pat Willie, the founder, and CEO of the not-for-profit ministry, The Gathering. When women gather, when women worship. Thanks for joining us for this podcast, the two-minute prayer. I believe that prayer is essential. It is life-giving and life-sustaining, and it only takes just a minute to pray.
Father God, in the name of Jesus, we honor you. We give you glory. We give you praise for your name is great and greatly to be placed. We will bless the Lord at all times. And your praises shall continually be in our mouth.
Our souls will make our boast in you the humble shall hear your love. And be glad. Oh, magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt his name together. So father in the name of Jesus, we pray for glory, be to God for the people of God, that we would begin to recall the promises of God and what you have said to us through your word. And then God, what you have said to us specifically. The things that you have spoken into our hearts and our spirits that we will begin to focus or those things. And we will begin to follow your word. We will align our lives, lives your word, and your truth, God, in the name of Jesus.
And we pray God that when we hearken diligently to obey your word and your command. Just, as you said to Joshua. Our success will be great in Jesus' name. And so God, we turn our focus totally to you in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. And we know that you will fulfill every promise that you promised us. According to your word in Philippians one and six, that you will complete the work she started in us.
You have given us the grace and the strength to be able to do the things that you have given us to do. We thank you, God, that there's new strength coming. New grace is coming in the name of Jesus. Your grace is always sufficient. And so you're strengthening us now to do what you have called us to do. And we ask, oh God, that you will remove every hindrance in the name of Jesus and every obstacle in Jesus' name. And we would push past those things that fight for our attention that come to distract us. And we will focus totally on your word and your way. And when we do that, we are guaranteed success. We thank you for it.
We give you glory. We give you praise in Jesus' name. We pray. Amen.
