Hello. This is Pat Willie, the founder, and CEO of the not-for-profit ministry, The Gathering. When women gather, when women worship. Thanks for joining us for this podcast, the two-minute prayer. I believe that prayer is essential. It is life-giving and life-sustaining, and it only takes just a minute to pray.
Father God, in the name of Jesus, we give you glory and honor and praise and we worship your name. You are our God, our Lord, and our savior. And we thank you, God, that you care for us, you call us your sons and your daughters.
Therefore we know that we are loved by you and my prayer God is for those that are feeling extreme, anxiety, fear, and stress. God, that they would be calmed by your presence. And by knowing that you are a great father. By knowing that you will never leave us. Nor forsake us. And we have security in your name. Therefore God, in the name of Jesus, our pray that they will learn to cast all of their cares, all of their worries, all of their doubts upon you in Jesus' name.
And God, you said in your word that when we cast our cares upon you. You care for us. We thank you for your love. We thank you for your patience. We thank you that you are addressing everything in our life that needs to be addressed. You are bringing the solutions, give us the faith to trust you in Jesus' name, and then God, your word, instructs us to come unto you. All of us. Those are carrying heavy burdens and heavy lows. And when we come unto you, we can find rest. So, God, we trust you with our life circumstances, and we trust you to lighten our burdens in the name of Jesus. We pray. Amen.
