Hello. This is Pat Willie, the founder, and CEO of the not-for-profit ministry, The Gathering. When women gather, when women worship. Thanks for joining us for this podcast, the two-minute prayer. I believe that prayer is essential. It is life-giving and life-sustaining, and it only takes just a minute to pray.
Father God, in the name of Jesus, I give you glory and I give you praise. And I honor you, God, for this is a day that the Lord has made and I will rejoice and be glad in it. I will command my day that this will be a day of rejoicing, hope, and peace in the name of Jesus.
Now, God, I pray for all of those that are suffering from hopelessness, helplessness ,and despair in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I pray, God that you would send your peace and your deliverance in Jesus' name and our pray, God that the spirit of fear will be replaced with a spirit of love, power, and a sound mind. So everyone, the glory be to God, that is struggling today with feelings of suicide and self-harm, I rebuke that spirit in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. And I decree and declare that we shall live and not die. We are the call of the Lord in the name of Jesus. And we will live out all of our Sundays and we will find a peace. We will find purpose in you. I feel your presence even now. The hope of God is coming into the hearts and the minds of your people. Joy is returning. Peace is there now. In Jesus' name. Amen.
