Hello. This is Pat Willie, the founder, and CEO of the not-for-profit ministry, The Gathering. When women gather, when women worship. Thanks for joining us for this podcast, the two-minute prayer. I believe that prayer is essential. It is life-giving and life-sustaining, and it only takes just a minute to pray.
Father God, in the name of Jesus, we give you glory. We give you praise and we honor your name for truly, your name is holy. You are our God, our Lord, and our savior, and I magnify your name. Now, God, I ask that you would bless those and touch those and encourage those that are suffering from family crisis and trauma in the name of Jesus.
First of all, God, I ask that you would give them peace in Jesus' name. And somehow God that they will find the strength to call upon your name. Ask for your help in Jesus' name. And after they ask God, I pray that in the name of Jesus, that you would give them the strength to be able to do as you have instructed in Jesus' name.
I also pray to God that they would develop a love for themselves. And for others in Jesus' name and that they will learn to set healthy boundaries in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I pray to God, in Jesus' name, that you would stop the hands of physical abuse and mental abuse, emotional abuse. Abuse of any kind and that they will find peace in you in Jesus' name. I thank you, God, that in the name of Jesus, you will rescue those that are hurting. Who are hopeless because you are our hope. I pray for their strength. I pray for their wellbeing and I pray, oh God, for a great deal of comfort. For you are the God of comfort. And you showed us a great deal of love and comfort when we were in the midst of trouble. For your word invites us to come out to you and cast all of our cares upon you. So, God, we pray that all those are in crisis. All those that are suffering from trauma will learn to cast their cares upon you.
And trust you in all of their situations and circumstances. For it's in the name of the father and the son and the holy spirit that we pray in Jesus' name.
