Hello. This is Pat Willie, the founder, and CEO of the not-for-profit ministry, The Gathering. When women gather, when women worship. Thanks for joining in this podcast, the two-minute prayer. I believe that prayer is essential. It is life-giving and life-sustaining, and it only takes just a minute to pray.
Father God in the name of Jesus, we honor your name for you are our great God. We declare that you are our Lord. And today God, we pray for peace in Jesus' name. For all of those that are suffering in their minds. That are suffering, God as a result of family issues and things that are going on in their lives.
We pray for peace today. We pray for joy today. Your word declares that weeping may endure for the night. But joy cometh in the morning. So it assures us God that our situations will change and that you will be with us. We praise you and we thank you for joy. That's coming in our lives and our minds and our hearts and our souls.
Joy is replacing fear. Joy is replaced in worry. And God you're bringing your spirit that soothes our hearts and our minds and our souls. That gives us the confidence and the peace that you are there. And you are with us. Thank you for joy. Thank you for peace this morning in Jesus' name. For your word declares when you are for us. You are more than a world against us. And your word declares nothing can separate us from your love. So we thank you for the peace and the joy that comes with knowing you. In Jesus' name. Amen.
