Hello. This is Pat Willie, the founder, and CEO of the not-for-profit ministry, The Gathering. When women gather, when women worship. Thanks for joining us for this podcast, the two-minute prayer. I believe that prayer is essential. It is life-giving and life-sustaining, and it only takes just a minute to pray.
Father God in the name, when Jesus, we give you glory and honor and praise, and we worship your holy name for you are our God, our Lord, and our savior. And God, we thank you for this new season. As we prepare our hearts and our minds to remember the Christ child. We thank you, God, that you sent your only begotten son into the world, and through belief and confession of him, we have eternal life. We thank you, God. In the name of Jesus, that during this season, we will discipline our minds and our hearts to stay focused on what you've done for us. Thank you for the great gift of the Savior. Thank you that through him, we have peace on earth and goodwill towards all men.
We pray in the name of Jesus that this season would be a season of expression, love, caring, and healthy relationships. We give you glory and we give you praise for this season's Advent. The coming of the Messiah. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
