Hello. This is Pat Willie, the founder, and CEO of the not-for-profit ministry, The Gathering. When women gather, when women worship. Thanks for joining us for this podcast, the two-minute prayer. I believe that prayer is essential. It is life-giving and life-sustaining, and it only takes just a minute to pray.
Father God, in the name of Jesus, we honor your name. We give you glory. We give you praise. We thank God that we have someone to come to when we're facing very dire situations and circumstances. Your word says, come to me. All ye that labor and carry heavy laden and I will give you rest God though there are those that are carrying heavy burdens.
There are those that are carrying heavyweights. There are those that can't find a way out. But God your word promises us if we would come to you. We will find rest for our souls. If we will call out to you, we will find the help that we need. So we say, God, we accept the invitation. And we come boldly to the throne of grace and we make known our petition onto you.
And we obtain mercy and we find the grace that is able to help us in every situation, in the name of Jesus. And we trust you that you are the answer to all of our problems in our circumstances. We come to you. We ask for help. We say help us oh, god, give us a strength renew our mind. In the name of our Lord savior Jesus Christ.
And there you build up our faith. There you are putting into a desire to live back in us. There you are put in, go ahead, back in us and Jesus, we give you glory. We praise Amen.
