Hello. This is Pat Willie, the founder, and CEO of the not-for-profit ministry, The Gathering. When women gather, when women worship. Thanks for joining us for this podcast, the two-minute prayer. I believe that prayer is essential. It is life-giving and life-sustaining, and it only takes just a minute to pray.
Father God, in the name of Jesus, we give you glory. We give you praise and we honor your name. For you are our savior, our Lord, and our Christ. And we are saved today because of your death, burial and resurrection.
We pronounce, and we declare that you are our God and that you are alive in us. And according to your word, is your word instructs us that for everyone that asks, he shall receive. So we ask for peace in our minds, peace in our hearts. And God, we asked you for the hard things in life, we involved you. We ask in the name of Jesus for that impossible situation, that health problem, that crisis, whatever was going on.
God, that we ask in Jesus' name that you would send help and that you would be our help. And then God, we asked and we seek and you said everyone that seeks should find. We go after you, we seek your way. We seek your peace in Jesus' name and we seek solutions that only come from you. We ask that you would speak to our hearts and our minds, and that you would give us the peace that we need as we seek you.
In every situation. And then you said everyone who knocks on it shall be open. And so we asked for opening in our understanding, we asked for opening in our will and our way in the name of Jesus, we asked for your instruction that we would be open to the ways of God in Jesus' name. And we give you permission to move in our lives.
As you have planned for us for you are a good father and you know how to do and give good things to your children. And we thank you for that. We are in a relationship with you and we reflect your ways. Thank you for being our father in Jesus' name. We pray. Amen
