My guest for episode six is Estonian experimental musician and producer Maria Minerva. Maria has been a seminal figure in the London, New York and now Los Angeles music scenes and in Estonia has been recognized as one of the nation's great cultural figures. She won the Estonian music awards for best female artist and best electronic album in 2015 and in 2017 was named one of the top 12 most outstanding Estonian women in the world. Her music explores the interaction of experimental dance, lo-fi bedroom recordings and theoretical sound art in a way that has made all of the many records in her discography unique. Her most recent solo release, bless, came out on 100% Silk in 2013.
