I am honored and excited to introduce you to this incredible force for change, CEO of Pencils of Promise, Tanya Ramos. Tanya has devoted her career to improving educational opportunities and life outcomes for young people in the most low-resourced communities. With a track record of growing organizations in key leadership roles at Education Pioneers and The Children’s Aid Society, she has served as a tireless advocate for educational equity.
Tanya has been honored with the Annie E. Casey Foundation Award for exemplary work in underserved communities and received her Master of Science in Urban Policy and Management from New School University.
In this episode, Tanya and I go deep into conversations about access to education and how Tanya is working diligently to reshape the landscape of education across the globe.
