Transitions is a web television show where Robert Henderson Jr. and Hyacinth Henderson of The Henderson Financial Group share their personal journeys on life, lessons, and legacy.
In the inaugural episode, Robert recalls his first memory of transitioning. Robert, his mother, and his two sisters fled from his abusive father in the middle of the night with nothing but the clothes on their backs. They fled to Cincinnati, Ohio where they were welcome by his aunt and her shotgun-toting husband. They ultimately ended up in Opa Locka, Florida where his aunt greeted him by exclaiming: Boy you sholl is black! This was the beginning of a new world for Robert.
