Who told us that we had to start the year at full speed with a giant list of goals over our heads? What if we started the year slowly and gently, rather than feeling the pressure to hit the ground running and "go go go" as soon as the new year begins?


It is easy to get caught up in the unconscious cultural narrative of always being busy and productive - it’s what we hear over and over again. Friends, this is exactly what can lead to burnout - not allowing our brains and bodies to truly rest and rejuvenate.


When you give yourself permission to rest and not put pressure on yourself to always be productive, it can lead to new ideas and opportunities for growth in the long run.


Today I’m sharing my own personal experience and what I’m choosing to do differently.
