Pat is the CEO of Serve Denton and Tim Smith’s dad, among other things. If you go back and listen to the previous episode, you’ll hear us chat a little about him, and at one point Tim mentions I should really have him on.
I always enjoy the time spent with him, and he’s definitely one of those folks that I just find myself so fortunate to know. I’ve leaned on him for advice, mentoring, brainstorming, etc. and we get into all that. Pat is the brains and CEO behind one of our best organizations: Serve Denton. Servedenton.org is the website.
They do great work, have a great facility outfitted for use by their partner agencies and are having a Grand Opening for the Serve Denton Center on October 17th from 9 AM - 11 AM celebrating the addition of Health Services of North Texas, Children’s Advocacy Center for Denton County and the Denton Community Food Center.
