Alyssa has chosen Denton's life ever since the fall of 2004. She is a history teacher at Calhoun Middle School in the heart of the city. Inside the classroom, she is passionate about politics - outside of the classroom, she is passionate about food. When she isn't trying out a new recipe or scouting out a new restaurant, you can find her laughing loudly with friends on any patio that includes both cocktails and sunshine.
