Turning towards the portrayal of psychotic characters in film, in this episode, we discuss Alfred Hitcock's horror classic, PSYCHO, and Bennett Miller's dark and tragic story of Olympic wrestlers, FOXCATCHER. Considering the evident evil natures of both Norman Bates and John du Pont, Ben and Michael explore the spiritual implications of dealing with mentally deranged individuals, as well as how our environments tend to shape our mentalities, the destructive nature of obsessing over a desire to please others, and how greed can easily corrupt the "American Dream." We also talk about our recent adventures at a Penn State music festival, the dichotomy of life between state colleges and our experiences with Messiah College, our Middle Earth J-Term journeys, the ass-buster of a futon that we once owned, and of course, some good ole Sheetz loving.
