Description

Matthew Karchner chronicles his life of being raised in a Christian family. However, there was a period of his earlier life that he did not feel as masculine nor adequate as his male counterparts. That resulted in him withdrawing from others and “exploring” avenues of feeling better about himself. Through a brief exploration period, he entered into the gay lifestyle that included drinking that provided a “counterfeit freedom.” Through a series of events, the reality of his devious life culminated in a letter of admission that started his journey to recovery.
