Mirta Pont, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Certified in EMDR, joins us again at The Counseling Corner with another technique for treating Trauma.
Today’s topic is Tapping. Mirta explains how this technique is very beneficial for treating single incident trauma events in a very short period of time. It’s a great technique to use on frontline personnel, including firefighters, police, medical personnel. It’s a technique that anyone can learn how to use. We thought this topic was very appropriate now considering many of our friends, family, and colleagues are going through difficult times right now.
