A live psychological thriller told through the training of a female drone operator. Their twisted game is a fast-paced, complex adventure that collides technology-driven anxiety with a longing for human connection. THE HILLARY GAME takes you on a rich journey into modern language, our relationship with machines, and the automatic processes that are defining the future of humanity.
A Partnership between PushPush and Padua Playwrights
Written by Guy Zimmerman for PushPush
Performed by PushPush Founders Tim Habeger and Shelby Hofer

Padua Playwrights (Los Angeles) and PushPush (Atlanta) were already discussing a project about the hard-core ways in which technology collides with human psychology when the 2012 photo of Hillary Clinton watching in awe as American troops stormed the Bin Laden compound appeared in The New York Times. The implications of that photograph sparked a deeper dialogue between playwright Guy Zimmerman and PushPush, which ultimately led to Zimmerman's script for THE HILLARY GAME.
As a follow-up to a successful 2013 project, The Black Glass, THE HILLARY GAME is a work-in-progress with a long production plan that includes a public ramp-up to the 2016 election, both U.S. and international tours, and numerous community engagements.
Though PushPush and Padua have been constructing the production for nearly a year, the production has become even more relevant, timely and absolute given the recent world events. PushPush advises that some imagery and content in THE HILLARY GAME may not be suitable for all - viewer discretion is highly advised.
"The production is dark, gritty, fast-paced, sexy at times, and entertaining - even in light of its subject matter. The path is the goal here, and there are no pat answers. It's a deeper discussion. And it will grow over the next year as we develop with new collaborators. But this is not an easy subject. And we are all dealing with it in big and small ways. We want people to come dig in with us. Plus, the soup is good." Says Shelby Hofer, PushPush Co-founder.
THE HILLARY GAME is a recipient of The Goat Farm Arts Center Arts Investment Package (AIP). The Goat Farm's AIP provides funding for, produces and presents experimental and innovative works that break patterns and excite new thinking. The Goat Farm's Review Board recognizes that consistent vanguard arts programming contributes to Atlanta's global relevancy.
