Abel Arriaga is owner of Compa Spirits, a supplier of his partner Ivan Carreño family’s mezcal business named Mezcal Carreño. Mezcal Carreño has been in business since the early 1900’s and has been in the family for over 3 generations.
In 2 years, Abel and his business partner Ivan have been able to bring inspiration and attention for mezcal back to the Phoenix, Arizona area, and they are rapidly expanding their product line into additional states outside of Arizona.
We go deep into the history of mezcal, Abel’s current ambitions, and his passion for mezcal and creating memorable experiences.
