Eric Riley and Nate Valdez are the blood, sweat, tears, and endless office work behind the heavy-rock force that is In the Whale. They've been turning heads and accumulating a mass of die-hard fans and followers for seven years (a year or so, by their own approximation, before anyone was ready for them). They take their jobs seriously, but avoid taking themselves too seriously and gladly share "how not to be jerks" when you're the opening act. Their new EP Dopamine, dropped three days after this podcast was recorded on July 24, 2018.
