A Lean expert with a background as a general manager in the aerospace industry, Mike succeeded in blending managerial science and behavioral science to the benefit of the children of Arizona. Recently named director of the Arizona Department of Child Safety, Mike and his team have achieved a 21 percent decrease in the number of children being moved into foster care, the largest such reduction in the nation.
