As we change, grow and evolve, as we walk our medicine path we often encounter the waters of our trauma and grief. Some of these wounds run deep and need more time to heal but we sometimes cannot see the layers necessary for healing. Sometimes we speak from what we think is a fixed wound but what is underneath is still building up. The lesson here is that life is truly a journey of stages and therefore things take time. Recovering from a wound takes time. Today's plática is one that has been brewing for over the past six months. The energía that we invite to sit with us in the circle today has many names: awakening, trauma, grief but today we will simply call it a wound. Join me for today's conversation where we talk about the work necessary to identify and heal our wounds. Tune in as I share a technique woven together in indigenous practice to help you: peel back the layers necessary for healing, stop taking on other people's waters and find a path to YOUR healing.
