Description

This week I had a chat with National Marketing Director for Juice Plus, Deni Benedict. A believer in God, loving wife and mother, and a powerful health advocate! She is a mentor and self-proclaimed personal growth junkie, and regularly empowers her team, which is active in multiple states around the nation, not only to have their best health, but also in achieving their dreams in life.

She lives by the mantra that the more that a person grows and becomes a better version of themselves, that they can give more abundantly to the world. The more we evolve, the more we can help and give support to those around us. She's achieved a lot in life, and has a heart to give back, and I could really feel that just being in the room with her.

Her story is an inspiring one, coming from a place where she felt trapped, like she wasn't enough. Not enough as a person/wife/friend, not enough in terms of taking control of her situation in corporate America, and even with her health and having fibromyalgia. It's interesting because her external situation changed following the monumental shift in her mindset. When she grew internally as a person, from being not enough, to being truly present in her life, her mind was freed. Then her ensuing actions lead to the freeing of her life.

Here are a few takeaways from the episode:

Divorce your goals, marry the process. You can control the actions that you take, but we can't always control the results. Our mindset and how we carry ourselves are so important when trying to move from one area in life to another.

No matter what your goals are right now, spend some time on you. Develop in your core the belief of I CAN. When you embrace the process, there are no more failures. They simply become a part of your process in achieving your end goal.

Keep an eye out for her book, Sunday Night Dinners: Love People and Serve Them Tasty Food. I'll update this post when we have more news on it.
