Description

This week's episode features Vince Hogue, personal trainer with Victory Fitness and Performance. We talk about how and why he always strives to be the hardest worker in the room, and why there are no excuses for not achieving the results that you want to achieve.

He talks about how he strives to impart the mentality of a champion to each person that he works with, with a champion being someone who gives there best. I've said this a bunch of times, but when striving for your goals, you can't compare yourself to others. We compare, and despair. Instead, you want to be better than you were yesterday. That consistent action, consistent improvement is what can make you into a champion. The success you seek starts with your actions, your actions shape your mindset.

Vince lives in a powerful mindset. He's in the business of transforming minds and bodies with his personal training, and for those who are committed to making a difference in their lives, there are real results in store for you

"When you realize there is no pressure to become better, you can focus on simply being better."

Success really is a mindset. When you want to have a different type of life, the perfect time will never come. You can't wait for it. Begin taking the actions of the person that you want to be, and your mindset will begin to change. You'll see that life that you've been working for begin to form. Believe that you can, and see yourself succeed first.

Remember the I CAN principles:

I - Imagine and Believe in your success

C - Challenge yourself everyday

A - Always do your best

N - Never give up

If you can just see yourself being successful, then achieving that success becomes so much easier. It's difficult to do though, I completely understand. If you don't have a track record of accomplishments or awards, you don't have that to look back on, it's hard to see success in your future as well. However, and this might be kind of cheesy, but your past doesn't determine your future. It doesn't. Break that feedback loop of I can't, and just tell yourself that you can. Psych yourself up if you have to. Get a playlist that pumps you up. Convince yourself that you can, and absolutely take action. Don't strive to be quote and quote, better than everyone else. Just focus on being better than you, yesterday. Do your best, and challenge yourself every day.
